Start the New Year with a resolution! Join us on Saturday, January 11th, from 11am to 1:30pm at Puget Creek Natural Area for an essential beach cleanup aimed at stopping pollution that travels from the "ground to Sound to beach to ocean." Assist in cleaning up a local park and creek that significantly contributes to the spread of plastic pollution, trash, and litter into our local salmon habitats, waterways, and coastlines. Register at the above link. For more information on Puget Creek Park please visit https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/puget-creek-natural-area
Each Surfrider Chapter is guided by a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers who step into various roles on the Executive Committee. We have five main positions, and there are additional roles available depending on what the chapter needs.
Our terms last for two years and involve attending monthly EC meetings, as well as various beach cleanups, chapter meetings, and chapter events throughout the year.
To begin and familiarize yourself with our team, participate in a beach cleanup, attend a chapter meeting, and ensure your Surfrider membership is current.
Discover the volunteer roles available below. Current openings include Chair, Vice-Chair, Volunteer Coordinator, and OFR Coordinator.
Join a chapter event and buy a membership on-site to get a complimentary gift. By donating $20, you not only support our mission but also receive a limited edition Surfrider 40th Anniversary Klean Kanteen cup as a token of our appreciation (available while supplies last). Let's promote sustainability together! If you kindly contribute more than $20, you can select either an exclusive market bag or a stylish beach bag. Membership
