Summer
Kick off July with a beach party where the only thing we’re tossing is trash—into bags, not the ocean. Volunteer for our Beach Cleanup at the Purdy Spit, Gig Harbor, Sunday, July 5 • 1:00–3:00 p.m. Show up for the *dirtiest* beach day of the year and help us sweep up the aftermath of July 4th fireworks and festivities. Sand between your toes, not plastic.
Join us for a Chapter Meeting – South Sound Session at Tacoma Pie, Wednesday, July 22 • 6:30–8:00 p.m. Hang out with Two Girls Take on the World learn about their mission to protect orcas, get the latest chapter updates, enjoy free pizza, and find the perfect volunteer role to match your inner ocean hero.
In August help restore the shoreline with a Beach Cleanup at Thea’s Park, Tacoma, Saturday, August 22 • 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. All ages are welcome—we’ll bring the gear and guidance, you bring a couple of hours. Register above to make a visible difference.
